Money tap. Master class on making a gift

Have you ever encountered the problem of choosing a birthday gift for a colleague, boss, or just a guy you know? I'm sure so! This is especially true when you are not close enough to know perfectly the tastes and preferences of the birthday person. Well, in this case, business gifts will help you out of this difficult situation. One such business gift is a money faucet. I bring to your attention a master class from the suite design section on making a money tap.

For such a symbol of wealth and success you will need:

- small tap;

- wooden skewers for shish kebab;

— gold paint in aerosol (any shades of gold and silver are allowed);

- 0.5 kg of long chocolates;

— 250 g of chocolate coins;

- a round tin box of cookies or other sweets;

— souvenir dollars – 80 pcs.;

- hot glue.

Let's get started.

1) If you managed to buy the required amount of souvenir currency, then you can safely skip this stage of making the faucet and proceed to the next one. But, alas, I was unlucky; there were only 30 bills in the souvenir shop. And for our crane we need about 80. I left these 30 bills for the final decoration. And I made the remaining 50 myself. So, to work as a counterfeiter, first of all, you need to print $100 bills. Note: the size of the bill is 156 x 67 mm. Now you need to give the paper a yellow-green tint. Brew strong green tea at the rate of 1 tbsp. for 1 cup boiling water. Add 1 tsp. turmeric. Immerse banknotes in this liquid for no more than 1 minute! Don't overcook or you'll end up with orange dollars instead of green ones. We take out the bills and let them dry.

2) After the bills have dried, carefully wipe off the remaining turmeric with a dry sponge or cotton cloth. Now you need to iron the money. We do this through gauze or cloth so that the paint does not transfer to the sole of the iron.

If you plan to prepare banknotes for the main decor, then you need to put the ironed money under the press for several hours.

3) We are preparing the crane. In my case, I have a brass faucet, but it has a small nuance - it is without a spout. If you decide to take the faucet from an old mixer, you will encounter the same problem. To make a spout you need to take a small piece of plastic pipe on an aluminum frame. Ideally, the diameter of the pipe should match the diameter of the inlet hole in the tap itself. But my tube is a little narrower and in order to bring it to the required thickness, it is enough to make several turns of electrical tape. I draw your attention to the fact that the pipe needs to be bent a little and it is better to do this before wrapping it with electrical tape. Unevenness after wrapping with electrical tape can be smoothed out with polymer clay.

5) The faucet needs to be painted. For painting we use aerosol paint.

6) While the faucet is drying, let's make candies. Long candies are perfect for this composition. The length of the candy must match the width of the banknote. It is necessary to fix the tails of the candies. To do this, take a narrow transparent tape and press the tails with a small strip to the “body” of the candy.

7) Wrap the candies in banknotes. Fix the end of the bill with glue.

8) Glue the money rolls to the box of cookies using hot glue. We glue tightly to each other.

9) Now you need to make a support for the crane. For this we need long wooden skewers for shish kebab.

10) Take enough skewers to fit tightly into the spout of the faucet. Pour hot glue into the spout and insert the skewers with the sharp end. The skewers need to be inserted deep enough.

11) Attach the structure to the box of cookies. Squeeze a large amount of hot glue into the center of the box. We insert skewers into it with a tap at the top. We wait until it dries completely. After this, pour the glue again, but this time going onto the skewers. We wait for it to dry, once again pour the glue one centimeter higher than the previous layer.

12) For the main decor we will need banknotes and gold chocolate coins.

13) Making “curly” bills. To do this, wrap the bill around a pencil. It is best to do this diagonally.

14) We begin to glue the bills to the base of the faucet spout. Banknotes can be laid out as you please: glued together, glued to the base, etc.

15) Now glue the coins. We glue the coins on the front part.

Well, that's all, the symbol of wealth and success is ready! I am sure that such a gift will certainly please your boss, your colleague, or just a good friend.

Good afternoon to everyone who stopped by! The works have accumulated, but for some reason there is no time to exhibit them))) I will little by little add to my collection of creativity in the Land of Masters))))
A little background. We were going to my father-in-law's birthday party. The gift was given in advance (out of urgent need), but somehow it’s inconvenient to go to the birthday itself empty-handed. Therefore, it was decided to do something creative. Our dad is a business man, has his own business, and of course the choice was made in favor of a money tap. It is original, gives positive emotions and at the same time is universal, as it will suit any interior and any occasion.

There are a great many money taps in our country, I have reviewed a lot of works. Here are links to master classes by craftswomen, which she relied on when she started working. Here is the MK on how to create a faucet, here is how to spin banknotes correctly, here is the MK of the money butterfly. Many thanks to the craftswomen for the information provided; thanks to your experience, even the most beginners can do a decent job!

My gift is not simple - I give you a golden faucet! There is no water in this tap, only men dream - a stream of money straight into their money chest! One, two, three, four, five - you will count the profit!!!
The poems are not mine, they were found on the Internet))))

In the end, this is the faucet I got:

A closer look at the faucet itself with a fluttering butterfly

The modern face of a market economy is, of course, money, which not only serves as a way to pay for goods and services, but is also an excellent gift for a wedding or birthday. However, it is no longer at all original to present money as a gift in an ordinary envelope. Crafts made from banknotes are much more attractive and original, so they will look great as a present.

A money tap is just the perfect gift for a significant celebration, which is completely uncomplicated.

Manigami (origami made from banknotes) is also an ideal option to give money. A little effort, and you will be rewarded for your efforts in the form of a Money Tap created by yourself. Let's take a step-by-step look at how to make such a gift.

For the Money Tap you will need:
- banknotes, decorative or real, coins;
- tap;
- tape and glue;
- a coil of wire;
- foam rubber;
- a sheet of cardboard;
- skewers for toast;
- spray with golden paint.

Master class on making a money tap

First of all, we build a holder for the crane. It is necessary to fold six skewers, and place the wire in the center so that the edge of the wire protrudes slightly. The skewers are held together with tape; the edge of the wire needs to be bent.

We attach the faucet using this design, and then use a spray can to paint it gold. The “pedestal” can be any option convenient for you. The edges of the pedestal can be decorated with coffee beans.

The faucet stand, wrapped in banknotes, will serve as the frame for the money stream of the faucet we manufacture. Then you need to attach the stand to the pedestal.

In order for our faucet to simply splash money, you need to use a pencil to twirl the bills, just as you twirl hair with curlers. Thus, we will get money curls that need to be glued to the stand along its entire length. The final design touch is to glue coins as additional decoration. The handmade money faucet is ready.

It has now become very popular to have amulets and talismans. The most popular of them are for attracting wealth. And today we will make “”, which will be an excellent talisman for attracting money. It symbolizes endless cash flow, prosperity and abundance. In addition, such a talisman will be an excellent gift for both men and women.
Materials:

  • Wire (strong enough) or metal pipe
  • Bookmarks “Dollar” - 15-20 pcs.
  • Plastic box, jar or bowl
  • Glue gun
  • Gold paint

Once we have selected all the necessary materials, we can begin making a money tap. And we will start, so to speak, from the foundation of our product. We dilute the plaster with water and pour it into the chosen form. While the plaster has not yet hardened, we insert a metal tube or wire into it.

After the plaster has hardened, remove the product from the mold and check the quality of the pouring. If there are any unevenness or flaws, then we sand the workpiece a little. Next we coat the plaster with paint.

Now we glue the tap to the metal tube. We check the reliability of the design.

Let's start gluing the banknotes. First, we glue the tube itself, and then we glue the bills, having previously twisted them.

To give the bills a shape, you can wrap them around a pencil.
In fact, bills can be any shape you want. Some craftswomen twist them into a watering can.

Our money tap is ready! If desired, the composition can be supplemented with coins or a beautiful inscription with wishes can be made.
I wish you creative inspiration and wealth!
