Diablo III Kanai Cube Recipes. What is Kanai's Cube and how to get it? Kanai cube where to find

The precursor to the Horadric Cube, the Kanai Cube is a powerful artifact with nearly limitless ability to alter objects. The Horadrim originally made a device simply called the "Cube" specifically for hunting great incarnations of evil. But to create the cube, the Horadrims had to resort to not the most plausible methods, and the results of their work turned out to be completely catastrophic. As a result, the order considered the artifact too dangerous. To replace the first device, a less powerful horadric cube was created. The old artifact was given for safekeeping to a mysterious group of barbarians who lived on Mount Arreat. They regularly protected the cube from outsiders, including members of their own clan who were not privy to the secrets.

Season four Diablo 3 at it's peak. New achievements, new sets, new difficulty levels, Malthael's horse in Heroes of the Storm, and, most importantly, the mysterious Kanai Cube. As before, not everyone has appreciated all the advantages of this wonderful artifact... So, you asked - we answer.

Scrolls of the Great Exile.

The quest to get your hands on Kanai's Cube is given by the spirit of Zoltun Kull, who is now located in the starting cities of each of the five acts. Zoltun takes us to a new location - the ruins of Secheron, where the developers' favorite method is to tell the story of Arreat and Kanai. After passing Secheron, at the very end we find the Cube, which immediately becomes available in the city.

The Kanai Cube has many properties and purposes, as well as two Easter eggs: simply decompressing the “Cow Berdysh” weapon without unnecessary ingredients will open a portal to the “Non-Cow Level”, and destroying the “Puzzle Ring” gives access to the treasury.

We admire it.

Recipes.
Tal Rashi Archive.

The first recipe in Kanai's Cube is quite simple, obvious, and has already gained wild popularity. The ability to extract properties from legendary items opens up incredible horizons and takes the game to a new level.

In total, we are asked to fill three slots:

  • weapon- two-handed, one-handed, spheres, amulets, shields, etc;
  • armor- clothes, belts, shoulders, helmets;
  • bijouterie- rings and amulets.

We load the necessary resources, decompress the thing from which we want to extract the property (the thing will disappear), and then select the one we need by clicking on the appropriate one from the proposed slots. Now this property is always with us, and there is no need to carry things (especially those that are frankly not suitable for many in the class, for example, the “Crucible” weapon that is now popular for Kuba Kanai)

There are achievements for this recipe that correspond to the number of decompacted items.

Let's admire the regs for the last time.

Kull's Law.

The second recipe promises us the reforging of a legendary item. It is not cheap and, in my opinion, not worth it at all.

So, “Kull's Law” changes all the properties of the legendary item. If Miriam’s reforging can no longer help, then Kanai’s Cube suggests radical measures. I was unable to change the quality of the items to “Ancient,” so the third recipe, “Deckard Cain’s Hope,” seems more profitable to me. And less expensive.

UPD: It is possible to reforge into something ancient. From ancient to ordinary too.

Cheap…

...and effective!

Deckard Cain's Hope.

Cheap and cheerful, the third recipe in Kanai’s Cube invites us to craft a legendary item, or even a set item, from a yellow item. We choose what specific item we ideally want to get in the end (a breastplate will be made from a breastplate, a spear from a spear, a legendary dagger from a dagger), load the resources and voila!

“Deckard Cain's Hope” is also good because you can often get “Ancient” legendaries. And this is much faster and more effective than trying to snatch them from Kidala Kadala. All that remains is to stock up on “Breaths of Death”.

Extra things.

Not unnecessary things.

Nilfur's mastery.

The fourth recipe is an excellent help in collecting sets in the first couples. Did you receive Ulyana's fifth bracers? No problem! Kanai's Cube will convert them into another item from the same set for a reasonable price.

As practice has shown, the final item is always from the same set as the initial one. One minus is that it is impossible to roll out “Ancient”, which Cube tells us about in red letters, and he doesn’t lie.

Works of Katan.

In the fifth recipe, everything is simple and clear. We load the item and the Lightness gem, pumped up to level 25, and the newly acquired item will not have a level requirement.

I don’t even know why this is needed, because with the same lvl 25 Lightness gem in a weapon, you can increase level 70 for a couple of Nephalem portals.

Source stone.

Result.

Darkness of Radament.

This recipe allows you to change the color of the stones. We insert 9 stones of the wrong color and the essence of the one we want (essences are sold by the Reseller Jumper in the second act, 500k per piece), and we get 9 stones of a different color.

If you suddenly don’t have enough for the Royal Stone, but really want it, then this recipe can easily be used in the Cube.

Me: “I want yellow materials.”

Cube: “Hold.”

Ibn Fahd's anger.

The last recipe suggests converting gray, blue or yellow ingredients into other ones that are missing. By placing an item of the desired color, a hundred materials of another and “Breath of Death”, in the end we get a hundred materials of the desired color. Unfortunately, the “Breath of Death” itself cannot be farmed this way 😀

Second wind.

Created after the unique protective circle of Imris, which, with the help of witchcraft, not only scared away attackers, but also strengthened the mind of the creator himself.

Kanai's Cube loves your resources. Especially Breath of Death. To farm them, if you still can’t handle Torment 10, where they drop two at a time, there is the “Apogee of the Sage” set. Three items from this set increase the drop of “Breath of Death” by 1.

You can get his recipe from the boxes given by Tyrael for completing assignments.

Good luck, and may Kanai's spirit be with you!

Update 2.3 will add Kanai's Cube to Diablo 3, which may look familiar to those who played the previous Diablo game. But that's not true.

You can get it by going through, which is also a new product, to find the gate of travel to which you can in adventure mode in the 3rd act. More precisely, we do not receive, but open Kanai's Cube, since it does not end up in our chest, but on the market square, in the form of an artisan (Zoltun Kull is responsible for it).

Although the Kanai Cube is very similar to the Horadric Cube, it works fundamentally differently. It will be stored 3 legendary properties, added there by extraction from legendary items. And you won’t have to add them to other items; your character will already receive these bonuses, despite the fact that the cube is in the city, on its pedestal.

In addition to this, its most powerful property, with the help of Kanai's Cube it will be possible to carry out various magical transformations with objects. Immediately after opening it, 6 other basic recipes will be available in it.

Basic Kuba Kanai recipes

  1. Extracting a legendary property into a cube;
  2. Reforging a legendary item;
  3. Upgrade a rare item (into a random legendary item of the same type);
  4. Convert set items (to a random item of the same set);
  5. Remove the level requirement (even a 1st level character can wear the item);
  6. Converting stones (for example, 9 rubies into 9 diamonds - essences are available from Jumpy);
  7. Conversion of materials (the color of the desired reagent is indicated through the item).

But that’s not all, the list of recipes can be expanded by achieving certain conditions, such as, for example: opening a secret level using a shepherd’s crook. So, with the release of update 2.3, you are unlikely to have time for anything else. But so far, little is known about how to obtain recipes.

Update 2.3 for Diablo 3 will add a new artisan - Kanai's Cube. Finding this ancient artifact in the ruins of Secheron, we can use its power to make incredible changes to items, exchange reagents, and collect legendary affixes to strengthen our character.

Official Blizzard quote ()

The Horadric Cube is one of the most famous items in the Diablo universe. It appeared in Diablo II and not only played an important role in the plot, but also opened up wide possibilities for players, allowing them to combine gems and improve items. But how did the magical properties of the cube appear? Information about the origins of this powerful Horadrim artifact is vague. Today we will tell you in detail about it and about a similar item called “Kanai's Cube”, which will appear in update 2.3.0.

Lost and forgotten

For many years, barbarians guarded the cube, protecting it from the prying eyes of those who would want to use the power of the artifact for evil. The last guardian of the cube was Elder Kanai. He died when the demon lord Baal destroyed Secheron during the events of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction. According to the ancient tradition of barbarians, warriors were always buried on the slopes of Mount Arreat. But after the destruction of the stone of the universe and the mountain peak itself, in the depths of which it was kept, Kanai’s spirit could not find peace. Now the deceased ruler carries out eternal watch over the ruins of his homeland and guards the greatest treasure of the world. He is waiting for a powerful and noble hero to whom he can transfer the artifact entrusted to him.

One vile creature has once again managed to penetrate the mortal world, and he is not averse to laying his intangible raking hands on the treasure that his order abandoned long ago. Of course, the spirit knows only one candidate who can impress Kanai...

Unthinkable power

So what can a Nephalem hero do with Kanai's Cube? In short, anything! This new item will radically change the way you think about the loot you get from fighting monsters. Consider this a one-stop gear selection tool. The cube not only allows you to increase the power of the hero, but radically changes and brings to a common denominator the principles of item hunting, which is an integral part of the gameplay of Diablo III.

One of the most frequently used features will definitely be the ability to extract the properties of a legendary item. The received property will be added to a special list, which shows all the properties of legendary items that you learned during the game. The new feature will also allow heroes to independently use legendary properties without the items themselves, freeing up free space in the bag from equipment that the hero had to constantly carry with him “just in case.” You can choose one property from three categories.

  • Weapon
    • This category includes weapons for both hands, as well as shields, amulets, quivers, and so on.
  • Armor
    • This category includes almost all non-weapon items: gloves, leg armor, boots, breastplates, belts, bracers, shoulder pads and helmets.
  • Jewelry
    • Rings and amulets

The hero will be able to use properties only if the items through which they were obtained are suitable for him. The extracted properties also have the highest possible values, so players will often have to choose between items with decent properties and the most effective properties extracted using the cube. Properties can be extracted from legendary items of any level. And finally, you don’t have to worry about getting bored with the properties - you can always change them to any others that you have already managed to extract. To do this, you just need to use Kanai's cube.

Let's say you received an amazing legendary item that allows you to fully unlock the potential of the development option you created, but its properties turned out to be not the most powerful. If the item you found gave an increase to the stat you needed, you wouldn't have to give it to Hedrig. Perhaps you unsuccessfully enchanted your equipment, or you want the Crucible mace to be not just legendary, but ancient. Now you can easily solve all these issues - it just requires a little luck and perseverance. Kanai's Cube will allow you to reforge legendary items, causing their properties to be redefined as if they were just given to you in battle. Also, any enchantments will be removed from reforged items. After reforging, items can even become ancient! But be careful - there is no guarantee that an ancient item will remain so if you decide to reforge it.

Kanai's cube also activates some functions that enhance the quality of the gameplay. For example, it can be used to eliminate the item's hero level requirements and convert materials and items from sets. We will leave it to you to decide how to make the best use of these opportunities.

Not just a legend, also a tribute to memory

Kanai's Cube is not just a useful item with a rich history. We've always wanted to add some sort of Horadric Cube to Diablo III, but we couldn't imagine which event would play a decisive role in choosing the name of the new item.
Kevin Kanai Griffith was part of the close-knit Blizzard family and a longtime fan of the Diablo series. He joined the Blizzard team in 2005 as an artist on the World of Warcraft development team. You could see the fruits of his labor in the Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King and Mists of Pandaria expansions, as well as in the illustrations for the World of Warcraft TCG. Kevin joined the Diablo III development team and left his mark on the game, creating a number of varied but very recognizable settings.

Kevin continued to work on decorations and various holiday materials for the game after the release of the Reaper of Souls expansion. You might remember him shaving off his beard on stage at the 2011 Diablo III launch event, or his masterclass at BlizzCon 2013, or our second holiday broadcast. Kevin has always been an active member of the community, both as a Blizzard employee and as a player, organizing weekly art workshops and inviting friends to play games together. Kevin was an amazing teacher and always inspired his colleagues to achieve new things. It was a pleasure to work with him - he simply infected everyone with his enthusiasm.

However, in February 2012, tragedy struck - Kevin was diagnosed with symptoms of alveolar soft tissue sarcoma, a rare type of cancer. During the difficult period of treatment, Kevin maintained good spirits and continued to work on Diablo III to the best of his ability. He pioneered the development of dynamic weather and day/night algorithms for Adventure Mode. Although he fought his illness with all his might, our dear friend and colleague found peace on October 17, 2014. His spirit and his legacy will live on forever in the games he touched with his talent as an artist and in the hearts of those who knew him.

We miss you, Kevin. This cube is for you...

Kanai's Cube is calling...

Kanai's Cube Diablo 3: how to get it, how to use it?

Kanai Cube- an ancient artifact, a prototype of the Horadrim Cube, but much “cooler”. Introduced into Diablo 3 in patch 2.3

Where can I find Kanai's Cube?

You can get the Kanai Cube artifact in Diablo 3 at the very end of the location Ruins of Secheron(which also appeared with patch 2.3), located in the third act of adventure mode. After you have found the Cube, it will appear in the city in the form of an artisan. The head of Kanai's Cube is Zolton Kull.

Kuba Kanai Recipes.

Tal Rashi Archive - extraction of a legendary property.

The very first recipe, as well as the recipe that changed a lot in the game Diablo 3. Thanks to this recipe, you can greatly strengthen your character by adding to him the properties of 3 legendary items: weapons, accessories and armor. You can use a one-handed sword and shield, but still have an additional bonus, such as from the Crucible.

You will need:

  • An item with a legendary property (you can find a list of supported items by clicking on one of the three pictures at the bottom of the cube - weapon, accessory or armor). The item can be of any level, and the legendary property can have any value - when extracted you will get the maximum effect.
  • Breath of Death x 5.
  • One special act loot each: Handar Rune, Caldean Nightlight, Arreat Battle Ornament, Flesh of a Fallen Angel, Holy Water from Westmarch. You can get them from Horadrim treasures - prizes for completing tasks.

Kull's Law - Reforge a Legendary Item.

The long-awaited item dropped, but the affixes were poorly pierced or the damage was too low, or maybe the items are simply not ancient? You can reforge an item in Kanai's Cube.

It can become ancient, or vice versa - from ancient clothes you will get ordinary ones. But a risk is a risk!

You will need:

  • Legendary item.
  • Handar Rune x 5
  • Caldean Nightwing x 5
  • Arreat War Ornament x 5
  • Fallen Angel Flesh x 5
  • Holy water from Westmarch x 5
  • Forgotten Soul x 50

Deckard Cain's hope is to improve a rare item.

Can't knock out an ancient item or is there not enough element for a complete set? You can upgrade a rare item appropriate type to be guaranteed to receive a legendary or set item.

You will need:

  • Rare item level 70.
  • Breath of Death x 25
  • Spare parts x 50
  • Arcane Dust x 50
  • Clouded Crystal x50

Nilfur's skill is to transform a set item.

A great way to quickly build a kit if you started a new character or started a new season. With this recipe you transform one item from a set into another random item from the same set. In this recipe you can't get an ancient item, so it is recommended to use it at the beginning of leveling up your character to quickly collect the required kit.

You will need:

  • Complete item.
  • Breath of Death x 10
  • Forgotten Soul x 10

Works of Katan - remove level requirements.

If you want to level up a twink (a new character), but you don’t have friends who will help you quickly level up on high difficulty in portals, then you can make a special gear for yourself by removing the level requirements.

You will need:

  • Item of equipment.
  • Lightness Gem (Legendary Gem) level 25 or higher x 1

Darkness of Radament - transform gems.

You need rubies, but you don't need topazes and emeralds? Turn unwanted gems into useful ones! This is especially true when introducing the recipe Kaldesanna Despair.

You will need:

  • Any gem x 9
  • The essence of the desired gem: ruby, amethyst, emerald, topaz or diamond (can be bought from Jumpy in the second act).

Wrath of Ibn Fahd - convert materials.

If you need some materials, for example, arcane dust, and you have many others, for example, clouded crystals, then you can convert one into the other.

You will need:

  • Material to be spent (common, magic or rare) x 100
  • Item (common, magical or rare, depending on the type of materials you need to obtain).
  • Breath of Death x 1

Kaldesann's desperation is to strengthen an ancient item.

Kaldesanna's Despair is a recipe introduced with patch 2.4.0 that allows you to significantly enhance any ancient item. You can additionally inlay the item with gems through the cube.

You will need:

  • Ancient item.
  • Legendary Gem x 1
  • Flawless Royal Gem x 3

If you want to add strength - use ruby, agility - emerald, intelligence - topaz, vitality - amethyst. A legendary gem requires a minimum level of 30 to upgrade a weapon, for accessories (ring or amulet) a level of 40 is required, and for armor a level of 50 legendary gem is required. You will receive a stat bonus according to the formula legendary gem level x 5.

If you use a level 60 gem, you will get + 300 stats, if 80, then +400. The legendary gem will disappear after being upgraded. You can upgrade an item several times. For example, if you received Kaldesann Despair rank 50 (+250 stats), then you can then improve it to a higher rank by repeating the “operation” with a legendary gem of a higher level.

Secret recipes of Cuba Kanai.

How to get to the Goblin Treasury in Diablo 3?

You can get to the treasury thanks to Kanai's cube. To do this you will need a puzzle ring. Just put the ring in the Cube and click "convert". A portal to the Treasury should open. Remember that you can only open one portal to the Treasury in one game. If you want to use a different ring, you need to recreate the game.

How to get to the Secret Cow Level in Diablo 3?

Using the principle of the previous recipe, you can open a portal to the Secret Cow Level. In this case, we will need a Cow Berdysh. This is a legendary weapon that drops from monsters just as randomly as the Puzzle Ring.

The Kanai Cube was added in patch 2.3 and returns to Diablo 2's Horadric Cube, giving players the ability to convert or break Legendary items and gain bonuses from their special properties.
The cube is obtained from Kanai's throne located in the "Oldest Shrine" in Secheron Ruins in Act Three. This area was added to the game in Patch 2.3 along with the cube and can only be found in Adventure Mode. Players do not have to complete a quest or reward to receive the Cube; just find the area (which requires some exploration since it's not marked on the map and the Ruins are large).

Kuba Kanai Recipes

Tal Rashi Archive is a recipe for Kanai's Cube, which extracts legendary power from a legendary item and allows it to be used through the Cube. This recipe only works on legendary and established items with a legendary affix (orange text), and it destroys the item when extracting energy.

Kull's Law is a recipe for a Kanai cube that recreates a legendary (unspecified) item. This recipe is the most essential of the expensive cube recipes and is intended to provide long-term financial assistance for players to work towards translating a near-perfect example of their favorite legendary item.

Deckard Cain's Hope is a Kanai Cube recipe that upgrades a rare item to a legendary or specified item of the same type. The element type is key; for example, players who want to Obtain the Crucible must use a rare Two-Handed Mace, which will evolve into one of the randomly selected Legendary Two-Handed Maces.

Nilfur Mastery is a Kuba Kanai recipe that transforms a given item into another item from the same set. The roll is completely random, in terms of which another element in the set is created, and the statistics for that element are always different. The same item will never be repeated twice in a row, and this recipe only works on sets with three or more items.

Proceedings of Catan- A Kuba Kanai recipe that completely removes the level requirement from any item. The item is not destroyed or altered, just changed so as not to require a level, so it can even be equipped with level 1.

Darkness of Radament is a Kuba Kanai recipe that transforms gems from one type to another. This is useful for turning unwanted types of gems into the ones you need, either for socketing in your equipment or spending on enchanting. This recipe changes 9 gems at a time to the same quality of any other gem type determined by the type of Gem Essence you use in the cube.

Delight, Regret, Fury by Iben Fahd is a recipe that converts materials from one type to another. Using this recipe, players can switch between their Reusable Parts (white material), Arcane Dust (blue material), or Veiled Crystal (yellow material) among themselves. Only these three materials. Forgotten Souls and Death Breaths cannot be used as input or output in this recipe.

Kaldesanna's Despair– Use Legendary Gems to raise an Ancient or Legendary item with a bonus. This recipe allows players to use Legendary Gems to raise the bonus on an Ancient or Legendary item.

Using the cube

To use the Cube, players must first obtain it from Secheron Ruins in Adventure Mode. Just find it there and click on the cube and it will automatically be added to your account. The cube is not a physical item that you see in your inventory, and the only way to access it is by clicking the cube or the Zoltan Kull standing next to it in the city.

The ingredients for the Recipe cube must be placed inside the cube (drag or right click);
All ingredients must be correct; recipes won't work if they are short on ingredients. Additional ingredients will be left in the cube and then returned to you when the UI window is closed.
The stack amounts don't matter; players do not need to insert exactly 50 or 100 stacks. Large stacks are fine, and the recipe subtracts the amount called for from the total stack cubed.
The usability of the cube was poor when it started testing on the PTR, and players often complained that they had to run to their wallet, pull out the necessary materials, launch them on the cube, insert them, etc.

Extracting Legendary Power

This recipe destroys a legendary item and adds its legendary affix to the cube, allowing the character to activate that power through the cube and enjoy it without equipping the item. This can be done on any legendary or specified element with a legendary affix (shown in orange text). Only this orange texture is retrieved, not any other properties of the element, and the cube always conveys the property in the highest possible equivalent.

Tal Rashi Archive

  • 1 Legendary item with a legendary affix.
  • 1 Handar rune
  • 1 Caldean Nightcrawler
  • 1 Arreatian Battle Ornament
  • 1 Flesh of the Fallen Angel
  • 1 Holy water from Westmarch
  • 5 Breath of Death

Reforge a Legendary Item

This recipe will remake any legendary item, completely resetting all stats as if the item had just dropped for the first time. The chances of getting Ancient Items are 1/10.

Kull's Law

  • 1 Legendary item
  • 5 Handar rune
  • 5 Caldean Nochnitsa
  • 5 Arreatian Battle Ornament
  • 5 Flesh of the Fallen Angel
  • 5 Holy water from Westmarch
  • 50 Forgotten Souls

Upgrade a rare item

This recipe allows the player to transform any level 70 rare item into a random legendary or specified item of the same type. You can use items purchased from vendors or Kadala. It's best to use items that are worth gambling on, such as amulets, or hunt for certain legendary weapons, such as two-handed maces, to try to create a Crucible.

Nadezhda Kaina

1 Rare item (level 70)
25 Breath of Death
50 Spare Parts (White Material)
50 Arcane Dust (blue material)
50 Clouded Crystal (yellow material)

Convert complete item

This recipe changes a given element to another random element from the same set. Designed to help players get that 5th or 6th item to complete a set when they keep finding other items in the set but not the one they want.

This recipe was suppressed when the recipe went live, with very low material costs of only 10 Death Tremor and 10 Forgotten Soul. The simplest exploit was to use it on two-item sets like focus/containment rings, where the item would simply swap one for the other, making it very easy to roll around until the perfect item was created. Blizzard promised to change the recipe to stop such simple re-polling on the first day that PTR testing began, and in the first PTR patch they changed this recipe to only work on sets of three or more items. Products made from this recipe will never be ancient.

Nilfur Mastery

1 Complete Item
10 Breath of Death
10 Forgotten Souls

Remove level requirements

This recipe allows players to completely remove the level requirement from any item. There's little benefit for Normal players, but this makes it even easier for Heroic players, who can place a powerful sixth item, at level 1, and play the entire game on Torment 10, starting from 1-70 in just a few minutes.

Proceedings of Catan

1 Item (any type)
1 Gem of Lightness, rank 25 or higher.

Transformation Gems

This recipe allows the player to convert 9 gems into any other gem type. It can be used at any gem level, but only in quantities of 9. Gem emblems are purchased from the Merchant in Act 2 for 500,000 gold each.

Darkness of Radar

9x any gem (same type/quality)
1 Essence of the gem (the type of gem you want)
5 Breath of Death

Converting Supplies

This recipe allows players to convert 100 of any crafting materials (white, blue or yellow, but not Death Breath or Forgotten Souls) into 100 white/blue/yellow materials. This is useful for compensating for imbalances in material quantity, such as a player who still has a lot of Clouded Crystals (yellow) and wants to convert them into blue or white materials to create targets.

To create, insert at least 100 stacks of materials you want to change and 1 item (white, blue or yellow) from which you want to change 100 materials. For example, 100 Clouded Crystals + 1 magic item = 100 Arcane Dust (blue).

Fury of Ibn Fahd

100 stacks of white, blue or yellow material
1 quality element (white, blue or yellow) with which you want to change materials.
1 Breath of Death

Portal: to the cow level

An undocumented recipe, it opens a portal to the cow level, a bonus area first introduced for the third anniversary.

1 Cow Berdysh (legendary item)

Portal: Shelter

An undocumented recipe, it opens a golden portal to Goblin Valley, a bonus area where fabulous golden riches await.

Only one Vault portal can be opened per game, so if it was accidentally found by a Goblin, this recipe cannot be used in that game. (Presumably, using this recipe means that no random Goblin in the world will open it, although this is difficult to verify).

1 Ring Puzzle (legendary ring)
