The most erotic flower: exquisite orchids - 3 ways to show their beauty + 50 ideas

Among the many luxurious representatives of the floral universe, this plant stands apart and has always evoked a lot of emotions. In the humid tropical forests, amazing flowers were born that looked like fluttering butterflies. Their way of living in the surrounding world, the exquisite forms of inflorescences, the rich palette of shades - all this became a reason for admiration and a variety of, often very sexual, associations.

In areas where orchids live in their natural environment, they have long been considered aphrodisiacs; love drinks and desserts were created from them. And modern Europeans and Americans have become infected with “orchidomania,” which, they say, is very similar to what the Dutch once experienced in relation to tulips. Serious passions play out around rare orchids, and heroes of films and books go on risky journeys in search of exotic flowers or collect amazing collections.

Orchids are excellent as gifts - elegant, romantic, exotic. But they are no less original for everyday home decoration, especially since they can be purchased as indoor plants.

the beauty of one flower - an orchid in a table setting:

In the East they know how to appreciate the beauty of one flower. Orchids, like no other plant, are ideal for this purpose. You can decorate guests’ personal utensils or shelves with sweets, combine orchids with candles or delicate sea shells.

original orchid compositions:

Orchids are wonderfully combined with natural materials in eco style, as well as with glamor and art deco styles. Sea pebbles or small shells located at the bottom of the vase, driftwood and bamboo as a base for flowers, several types of orchids, decorated in different ways. All this plays into contrast.

A more sophisticated option is to add accessories made of silver or just white metal, as well as decorate the bottom of a vase or the top of a plant pot with acrylic pebbles.

Florists create luxurious wedding decorations and celebratory bouquets from orchids, and you can use individual techniques to create a small corner of exoticism in your home.

choose a vase and flowerpot for orchids:

The main rule is that the type and color of the vase (pots, bowls) should not compete with the beauty of orchids. Therefore, neutral tones are preferred. If the orchids are bright, a very delicate shade of the same color for the vase is quite acceptable.

As for the form, there is an unlimited space of options. Low and high, round and with edges, made of glass, ceramics and wood. Look how varied the solutions are - for one flower, for a bouquet, for an orchid as a houseplant.

A stylish gift for March 8th is a composition with orchids made from candies, which is not difficult to make with your own hands.

To create a composition with candy orchids you will need::

Two types of sweets for a bouquet: for orchids, a larger, classic shape, and for chrysanthemums and buds, a small, round shape (for example, chocolate-covered hazelnuts);

Corrugated floral paper (corrugation) in light green, cream, purple, lilac and olive colors;

Wire, threads;

Hot glue gun;

Polysilk (golden thin film that can be replaced with foil);

Decorative ribbons in light colors (organza, satin, brocade);

Sisal.

Composition with candy orchids step by step:

First, cut the wire into pieces 15-20 centimeters long. Bend the wire on one side (Figure 1). This is necessary so that the edges of the wire are not sharp and the candy wrapper is not damaged during operation. To create orchids you will need 5 such pieces, for chrysanthemums about 10 pieces. For orchid buds, you will need to make 6 more pieces of wire: two of them are about 20 cm long (for the central buds), four are shorter - about 5 cm (for the side buds).

Secure the wire to the base of the candy using strong threads (Figure 2). This will be easiest to do by placing the bent end of the wire into the free ends of the candy wrapper and wrapping the “flower” with thread several times, while pulling the thread well when wrapping so that the fastening is strong. It is not recommended to use glue for fastening, since the candy wrapper can be damaged due to high temperature. Creating candy bouquets will require a lot of attention.

Proceed to making the orchid core. To do this, cut a rectangle from cream corrugation measuring about 7x5 cm. Give the upper part of the workpiece the shape as in Fig. 3, using scissors. Apply a dotted pattern using purple watercolor paint. Trim off excess paper by making side bevels.

Give the centers of the orchids a suitable natural shape by slightly stretching and turning the colored parts outward (Figure 4). It will be convenient to do this with a pen or pencil.

Bend the center of the centers, giving them a cylindrical shape (Fig. 5).

Secure the center with threads, wrapping them tightly around the candy (Fig. 6).

Next you will need to cut out the petals for the orchids, which will be of two types. Cut out larger corrugations from light green rectangles, measuring 6x5cm. Cut off the excess paper using scissors - the contours of the petal should be as in Fig. 7. Slightly stretch the edges of the paper, bend the centers. For each orchid you will need two of these petals.

Attach the petals at the base of the candy in pairs using a hot glue gun (Figure 8).

Cut out the second type of petals, which should be significantly narrower and slightly longer than the previous ones (approximately 7x3cm). For each orchid you will need about 3 of these blanks (Fig. 9).

Attach the narrow petals as shown in Fig. 10.

Cut the decorative tape into 20 cm pieces, bend it in half and secure it to the base of the flower with hot glue (Figure 11).

For orchid buds you will need small round-shaped candies. Also fasten to the pieces of wire with threads (Fig. 12).

Wrap each candy in olive-colored corrugation. Wrap the same paper around the stem at the base of the candy. Obtain individual orchid buds. Then arrange branches from three buds (the central bud should have a long wire, the two side ones should have a short wire). Also wrap the entire branch with paper along the length of the central stem (Fig. 13).

To create a chrysanthemum you will need round small candies. Attach them to the wire using the technology used to create the orchid. Additionally decorate with polysilk. To do this, cut out a small square from the film and, wrapping the candy, secure the ends with threads. The middle of the flower is completed (Figure 14).

To create chrysanthemum petals, you will need to take a 7x25cm rectangle of lilac corrugation, fold it in half lengthwise and cut a small fringe along its entire length from the fold side (Fig. 15).

Slightly stretch the fringed piece, wrap it around the candy several times, and on each turn the petals should be located slightly higher than the level of the petals of the previous row (you should get the effect of different lengths). Fasten the structure with threads (Fig. 16).

Prepare a container for flowers. What can you use an empty candy box for? The outside can be decorated with deep purple corrugation. Secure the paper using a stapler or hot glue. Cover the top of the container with a light-colored sisal cloth. You can also decorate with beads, ribbons, butterflies, etc. Place a piece of foam plastic inside the box, and sprinkle on top with any filler you have (sisal fibers, pieces of paper, rain, cotton wool, etc.).

To finish making a bouquet of sweets, form a composition and collect all the flowers in a basket, secure their stems in polystyrene foam.

The composition with candy orchids is ready!

Flowers create the mood of any room, regardless of the time of year, location or weather. Such decorations will help make the atmosphere of an official reception more relaxed, and a quiet family holiday - incredibly solemn, giving many happy smiles. With the help of beautiful flower arrangements, you can decorate your living space without any special reason, making it cozy and lively.

Recently, compositions made from orchids have become especially popular. This is not surprising, because these tropical beauties have long conquered many hearts in our temperate latitudes with their incredible variety of shapes and shades.

Many people think that combining orchids with other flowers is too difficult, some even consider it bad taste. Actually this is not true. It should be borne in mind that orchids are spectacular plants, and in a composition they will look advantageous with small flowers and a lot of greenery. You should not use lilies together with them, for example, because they are larger and will distract attention from each other. However, most orchids have virtually no odor, so they will not create discomfort for your sense of smell (or for people with allergies) when combined with other flowers.

Nature has endowed orchids with an incredible palette of colors and shades, which helps us design any event in accordance with our tastes and preferences. You can find white, yellow, orange, green, red, blue, pink, purple, black and even tiger orchids.

To decorate your room for an engagement, a wedding, or just decor for a Love Story, choose orchids from a more subtle palette: from white to hot pink and crimson. They will emphasize the tenderness and sensuality of the occasion.

If you are going to decorate the room for an official reception or buffet, pay special attention to compositions of dark purple and black orchids. They will amaze you with their seasoned elegance.

Flowers are a symbol of naturalness and life, and orchids are a symbol of unique beauty and nobility. We hope that with our advice you will be able to make any celebration one of the most memorable moments in your life!
